For this project, the class had to redesign the Box Set for George R.R. Martin’s book series A Song of Ice and Fire. We were prompted to take an unexpected approach from the traditional look and feel of fantasy book cover design. I chose to use simple graphic shapes to differentiate each novel, paired with a strong serif typeface as an updated homage to the genre.
